Madoka Ebosawa, MCT Technician Loyalty 6, Connections 4, Black Market Pipeline Madoka and Tatsuo's family's were childhood friends. They started at MCT together.  Madoka and Tatsuo even transferred to Seattle from Neo-Tokyo at the same time, Madoka as the head of a consumer electronics division. After Tatsuo's disgraceful flight from MCT, Madoka managed to contact Tatsuo to let him know he was still his friend. Madoka's also served as a conduit for Tatsuo to obtain or fence electronic goods, sometimes items that have not yet even hit the market.

Jennifer Huntley, CAS Diplomat Loyalty 4, Connections 4 Jennifer and Tatsuo met at a corporate sponsored function for state dignitaries in Seattle. They had a torrid relationship for several months, only ending when Tatsuo was forced to flee MCT. They've re-established contact, though whether they resume their relationship has yet to be seen.

Max Turner, Bartender Loyalty 2, Connections 3 Max is one of the bartender's at the local watering hole Tatsuo frequents. He's a good source of street gossip, and even the occasional lead on a job. They're relationship's all biz.

Heather Martins, Corporate Watchdog Blogger Loyalty 3, Connections 4 Ms. Martins is a self-espoused blogger on the gossip, news, and general doings of the various AAA- and AA-rated corporations. Very protective of her identity, she and Tatsuo have not met in person, only on the matrix. They've a good rapport, often trading information on the goings on of the shadows.

Tanner Smith, Senator's Aide Loyalty 2, Connections 4 Tanner Smith is one of Helen Royer's numerous aides. He and Tatsuo met once at a social function, and Tatsuo has since helped out Tanner with some minor freelance work, dealing with the parts of society the senator would not like to be associated with.

SFA VPN, Seattle Fixers' Association (~80 members) Loyalty 3, Connections 5, Area: Sprawl-wide, Minor magic resources, Active Matrix resources Tatsuo, since leaving MCT, has been trying to make inroads as a fixer. One area in which he's accomplished this is obtaining access to the SFA VPN, or the Seattle Fixers' Association Virtual Private Network, a subset of NAFA VPN (North American Fixers' Association). He's a member in good standing, and the network has resources throughout the city.

Jirou Nobunaga, MCT Envoy Incident 1, Connections 4 Tatsuo and Jirou were both in the same recruitment class for MCT's Envoy program. Jirou and Tatsuo quickly became competitive rivals. Jirou hailed from a proud, wealthy family, and thought it a disgrace that a half-blood like Tatsuo would have a position in the prestigious program, let alone be living in Neo-Tokyo. At first the rivalry was minor, bragging about accomplishments. Jirou however was underhanded, and wanted nothing more than for Tatsuo to wash out. Jirou eventually framed Tatsuo for his own embezzlement schemes, forcing Tatsuo to flee MCT rather than face a rigged corporate trial. Jirou needs Tatsuo to disappear, as Tatsuo could greatly harm his career if the truth ever came out.

Tatsuo's backup doss, it's one of many identical tenement apartments down near the docks. The building's in rough shape as the landlord rarely does maintenance, but the place is pretty well secured due to a few high-profile crimes recently.

Personality:

                Tatsuo Morgan is a friendly, even gregarious, young man eager to make a name for himself. Tatsuo is an optimist, and honorable young man, who is drawn towards outcasts and social pariahs due to his being a half-breed growing up in Neo-Tokyo.

Background:

               Tatsuo was born to Samuel Morgan, a prominent financial consultant, and Hikari Akihito, a systems design engineer. The met while Samuel was working in Neo-Tokyo for Mitsuhama Computer Technologies, where Hikari was employed. Tatsuo grew up in a corporate enclave. Tatsuo faced considerable prejudice, being half-Japanese and half-Western, but despite that he excelled in his studies. Early on it was discovered he had a predilection for languages, and he was soon selected to enter a special program at MCT known as the Envoy program. MCT Envoys were groomed (and built with custom cyber- and bioware packages) to be negotiators, presenters, and even corporate diplomats. It was a prestigious program, involving international travel, lavish expense accounts, and hobnobbing with important personages. That he was a half-breed was only of minor concern to the company, as envoys were needed throughout the world.

                In the Envoy program, however, Tatsuo would meet his nemesis. Jirou Nobunaga was a pure-blood Japanese who despised Tatsuo from the outset. At first, their rivalry was merely academic competition, but Jirou pushed the boundaries towards intimidation, bullying, and more. Jirou gathered a posse of cronies about himself, and made it his mission to see Tatsuo wash out.

                Tatsuo was eventually transferred to Seattle, where he thought he might be away from Jirou's sphere of influence. While there, however, Tatsuo discovered that Jirou had been padding his expense accounts to feed his gambling debts. This sort of embezzlement was a sure fire way to be expelled - or worse - under corporate law. Tatsuo confronted Jirou, who begged for time so he could make it right, and pay back the money he stole. Tatsuo agreed, and gave Jirou a week to make amends. Jirou, however, took the time to have one of his hacker cronies swap his expense reports with Tatsuo's, and then reported the findings. Tatsuo was immediately summoned to face the disciplinary board.

                Knowing what he faced (a hostile board of Jirou's allies), and not seeing any immediate way out of the predicament, Tatsuo was forced to flee MCT until such time as he could find proof of his innocence. Jirou continued to spread salacious rumors about Tatsuo after his departure.

                On his own in Seattle, Tatsuo was at a loss. He did, however, have his wits and drive, and realized he had the opportunity to make a real name for himself, outside of the corporation's control. He decided to try to style himself a 'fixer', using his numerous contacts and acquaintances (or at least those that would still talk to him), to find freelance jobs. And he soon discovered that he had friends inside MCT as well, who believed him and were willing to help him on the outside.

Current Activities:

                Tatsuo goes by the moniker "Kao", or "Face". He does freelance work as a negotiator, fixer, or con-man in the Seattle area.
